The weavers receive two payments: the remuneration and in addition a bonus in dependance of their labour time.
"BAHIA hammocks" is the first enterprise that provides a "fair trade" - bonus to the producers. This bonus amounts to 20% of the purchased products for fair trade purposesa and is divided and disbursed to all employees of the manufactories. External workers in the village responsible for the completion work also receive this bonus. All the workers, the weavers as well as the external workers, confirm by signature the receipt of the bonus.
