The thread (yarn of the chain) of the woven cloth is well connected with the suspension ropes of BAHIA hammocks and hammock chairs. This thread at both ends of the woven cloth is hand knotted in the beautiful Macramée style.

Brazilian hammocks are usually associated with handknotted borders, which decorate the side of the hammock. These hammock borders may be quite aestheticly, especially if they hang in the living room. We offer hammocks with or without borders.
